About Henry
Henry Braun was born and raised in Southwestern Ontario. After becoming a Christian in 2008 at the age of 23, he had a desire to not only learn the word of God, but also to teach it to others. Two years later, he moved to Chihuahua, Mexico after feeling a clear calling to minister to the Low German community there. He spent his first few years working at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and studying at Steinreich Bibelschule.
After graduating from Bible School in 2013, he began serving as youth pastor in a local congregation, (which later became Erwakjunk Kjoakj), as well as working at the popular low German radio station, Casa Siemens. In 2015, he married his wife, Margaret, from Ontario, who supported him as he continued his work in Mexico. He went on to teach part-time at Steinreich Bibelschule, and served for six years as the lead pastor of Erwakjunk Kjoakj.
In 2023, Henry and his wife made the decision to return to Canada with their two daughters. His passion is teaching in-depth Bible classes and is continuing to pursue this in Ontario.

About the Project
As a young believer, I remember desiring to have someone lead me through individual books of the Bible a little bit more in-depth than was usually done in Bible studies or Sunday morning services.
There were many great sermons preached, topics discussed, and classes given about different subjects that one could sign up for. But to have someone offer a class or to bring a series of sermons that would take a book of the Bible and explain it, in-depth, front to back, seemed a rarity.
Looking back, I can see how that personal desire has driven me over many years in the ministry to try and give others the teachings I myself desired to have. As people, we are often driven to do things that we ourselves longed for at some point in our lives.
This Bible Class project is born out of that personal conviction. It's where I begin putting together one book at a time, one class at a time, to help those of you out there who were like me and wanted to know God's Word itself just a little bit deeper. And my hope is that you don't do this alone. That's why I've developed the classes the way that I have. They are meant for group studies.
